Amazon Sets Chris Pratt Action Series ‘The Terminal List’ For This July

Amazon has figured out that adapting novels featuring tough guy leads is big business. So we already have shows centered around Jack Ryan and Jack Reacher, and a movie with John Kelly. If you’re a big, strong military dude whose name starts with a “J”, then Amazon wants you. Enter James Reece, a Navy SEAL who will be played by Chris Pratt in action-thriller series, The Terminal List.

First announced back in 2020, Amazon has set a July 1st debut for the series, which has Pratt starring as James Reece, the protagonist of Jack Carr’s bestselling novel. The story finds Reece in the middle of a conspiracy when his entire Navy SEAL platoon is ambushed while on a mission.

Joining Pratt are Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo, Patrick Schwarzenegger, LaMonica Garrett, Stephen Bishop, Sean Gunn, Tyner Rushing, Jared Shaw, Christina Vidal, Nick Chinlund, Matthew Rauch, Warren Kole, and Alexis Louder. Antoine Fuqua, who worked with Pratt on The Magnificent Seven, and Ellen Kuras (The Umbrella Academy) are directing the series.
