Leslie Grace Reveals First ‘Batgirl’ Image Of Her In Full Costume

When it comes to superhero movies, and Batman-related ones in particular, the costume is everything. And that also goes for the upcoming Batgirl film led by Leslie Grace. The In the Heights breakout has shared a first look at her in full costume as Barbara Gordon, the newest protector on the streets of Gotham.

Grace captioned the Instagram photo…

“I use their expectations against them. That will be their weakness. Not mine. Let them all underestimate me…And when their guard is down, and their pride is rising, let me kick their butts.”
– Batgirl, Year One

Batgirl will be an HBO Max exclusive, although I personally feel WarnerMedia will add a theatrical component as they did Blue Beetle. The film will be directed by Bad Boys for Life duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Grace will be joined by J.K. Simmons who will return to the role of Commissioner Jim Gordon, plus Brendan Fraser reportedly as Firefly and Michael Keaton who will suit up as Batman, likely in a mentor role.
