I hope you’re ready, because Kamala Khan is about to take over the MCU. Ms. Marvel is set to make her cinematic universe debut in her upcoming Disney+ series, with newcomer Iman Vellani set to play the popular teen hero. We’ve also known from the start that she would also be appearing on the big screen, and now Kevin Feige has confirmed she will have a part to play in Captain Marvel 2.
Not only that, but the first footage from Ms. Marvel has been revealed as part of a new sizzle reel for the series. Kamala Khan idolizes Captain Marvel, which is perfect because it’s well-known that Vellani is a huge Brie Larson fan. Khan will get to meet her hero in Captain Marvel 2, a film that will also feature Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau aka Photon aka Spectrum aka…well, Captain Marvel. Quite the legacy movie that’s becoming.
Ms. Marvel hits Disney+ in late 2021, followed by Captain Marvel 2 on July 8th 2022.
