Jake Gyllenhaal In Talks For Michael Bay’s Action-Thriller ‘Ambulance’

Bayhem is coming for Jake Gyllenhaal! Let’s hope he survives the experience. Deadline reports Gyllenhaal is in talks to star in Bay’s latest action flick, titled Ambulance.

What’s the over/under on the number of ambulances that will go up in an explosive fireball?

Info on the film is being kept under wraps, but it’s said to be in the vein of Speed and Bad Boys, which are two very different things. Are we talking about cops chasing down a speeding emergency vehicle wired to explode? That sounds like something Bay would jump at the chance at. But would Gyllenhaal? Honestly, he doesn’t seem like the type to do a Bay film, which makes this all the more intriguing.

This will be Bay’s first film since 6 Underground. He’s also a producer on the pandemic thriller Songbird. Gyllenhaal was last seen in Spider-Man: Far from Home, and has Antonie Fuqua’s The Guilty coming up along with a host of other projects.

The plan is to shoot Ambulance in early 2021.
