Who needs Chucky when you’ve got Annabelle? The centerpiece creepy doll of James Wan’s Conjuring universe is back again for Annabelle Comes Home, with the filmmaker revealing the first creepy image. Good thing she’s locked away in that vault of cursed objects.
The third film finds screenwriter Gary Dauberman, who also wrote the prior two Annabelle movies as well as Stephen King’s IT, taking over as director. This particular story is unusual to the franchise because it will feature appearances by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as paranormal sleuths Ed and Lorraine Warren. with Captain Marvel‘s McKenna Grace playing their young daughter Judy who is terrorized by the sinister doll. Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Katie Strife play Judy’s babysitters, who I hope are getting hazard pay.
