‘Dogfight’: Jason Statham And Guy Ritchie Reteam For Netflix’s London-set Revenge Thriller

Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie just can’t quit one another. The duo have worked together on six movies, and now a seventh is in the works. Deadline reports Ritchie will direct Statham in Dogfight, a revenge thriller for Netflix.

Dogfight will be directed, written, and produced by Ritchie, who apparently never takes a break. The film is described as a “stylish revenge actioner set in the London criminal underworld.”

Ritchie is currently busy with the third season of The Gentlemen, along with directing episodes of MobLand. He’s also in post-production on two movies, Wife & Dog, and Viva La Madness which also features Statham. The other Ritchie/Statham collabs are Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Revolver, Wrath of Man, and Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre. They’ve never really reached the creative high of those first two movies.

Fans kinda know what they’re going to get from Ritchie and Statham at this point. Dogfight sounds like it’s right up their alley. Hopefully, Netflix will drop more info on it soon.
