Guy Ritchie has been working at an incredible pace, both in movies and television, over the last few years, and I don’t know how long he can keep it up. With five movies in three years, and three TV shows running simultaneously with a fourth on the way, Ritchie somehow found time for Wife and Dog, a new thriller about the wealthy elite starring Rosamund Pike and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Wife and Dog is written, produced, and directed by Ritchie (seriously, how does he find the time???), and returns him to the familiar territory of the rich and greedy willing to do anything to amass greater wealth.
SYNOPSIS: “The relentless greed of the Fairbank family and their associates fuels betrayal and murder in the battle for succession.”
Also in the cast is a starry British ensemble that includes Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton, Paddy Considine, and Anthony Hopkins.
Black Bear Pictures will release Wife and Dog in theaters on February 19th 2027.
