‘Fuze’ Trailer: Aaron Taylor-Johnson And Theo James Star In David McKenzie’s Ticking Bomb Thriller

When a WWII-era bomb is found buried in a London construction site, it’s only the beginning of David Mackenzie’s ticking clock heist thriller, Fuze. This was one of my favorite movies out of TIFF, and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James.

Fuze centers on the attempt to evacuate the area after the unexploded device is discovered. Taylor-Johnson is British Army Major Will Tranter, who is put in charge of the operation, only to discover that the bomb could be a cover for a different kind of threat.

Also in the cast are Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington, Honor Swinton Byrne, and Saffron Hocking.

The film is directed by David Mackenzie, who has specialized in machismo-fueled thrillers such as Hell or High Water, Outlaw King, Relay, and Starred Up.

SYNOPSIS: When a World War II-era bomb is found in a construction site in a busy area of London, the authorities quickly spring into action, determined to save the throngs of innocent bystanders in the vicinity. As the tension mounts and time threatens to run out, it soon becomes clear that no one can truly be trusted.

Fuze doesn’t have a US date yet, but it will hit the UK on April 3rd and I expect it’ll drop here soon after. You can check out my review here.
