Things just keep on changing at the top of Matt Ross’ upcoming crime flick, Kockroach. A few months back, Oscar Isaac dropped out which led to Taron Egerton joining the cast. Now, Channing Tatum has bounced due to scheduling conflicts, with Deadline reporting that Chris Hemsworth has taken his place.
Hemsworth joins Egerton and Zazie Beetz in Ross’ adaptation of William Lashner’s novel of the same title. The story centers on an enigmatic outsider who takes on New York City’s criminal underworld and rises to become the top kingpin in town.
Add Kockroach to a busy schedule for Hemsworth, who has the anticipated heist thriller Crime 101 hitting theaters next week. Also coming up is Avengers: Doomsday and Patrick Vollrath’s action-thriller Subversion.
