Released in 2019, Ready or Not was a high-stakes thriller that helped make the careers of star Samara Weaving and filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence fame. Fans have been clamoring for a sequel ever since, and while it didn’t seem like it would ever happen, that wish has come true. The trailer for Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come has arrived, and this blood-soaked game of cat & mouse looks deadlier than ever.
Weaving is back as the bloody bride, Grace, and this time she’s got some help from Kathryn Newton, who plays her younger sister, Faith.
Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett return as directors, working from a script by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, who wrote the first movie.
The action picks up moments after Grace survived her brutal wedding night, only for her to find that the game isn’t over yet.
SYNOPSIS: Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.
The ensemble has expanded and is more starry than before, with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, and David Cronenberg aboard as potential killers, allies, or victims.
Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come hits theaters on April 10th 2026 via Searchlight Pictures.
