‘Inside Out 2’: Dolby Cinemas Exclusive Poster Has Riley’s Emotions Taking Up A Lot Of Headspace

Get ready, Pixar is taking us back inside the mind of Riley with Inside Out 2! Only now, Riley is a newly-minted teenager and her emotions…well, they’ve gone a bit wonky. Actually, being a teen has led to the arrival of a whole new batch of emotions that nobody is prepared for, including Anxiety. And to get fans ready for the anticipated sequel, Dolby Cinemas has dropped this cool, exclusive poster featuring all of Riley’s new emotions!

The image gives us an inside peek at all of the old emotions, Joy, Anger, Sadness, Disgust, and Fear as they occupy space inside Riley’s brain. But also taking up space in there are Anxiety voiced by Maya Hawke; Envy voiced Ayo Edibiri; Ennui voiced by Adèle Exarchopoulos, and Embarrassment voiced by Paul Walter Hauser.

Amy Poehler returns as the voice of Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Kensington Tallman, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, June Squibb, Yvette Nicole Brown, Paula Pell, and more round out the voice cast.

Pixar veteran Kelsey Mann (Party Central) makes his feature directorial debut.

Here’s the synopsis: Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as the voice of Joy. The voice cast also includes Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, Tony Hale and Liza Lapira. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, “Inside Out 2” releases only in theaters June 14, 2024.
