‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ Teasers: Michelle Yeoh Leaps Through The Multiverse To Save Her Family

I’ve got news for you: the concept of the Multiverse isn’t just confined to DC and Marvel superheroes. The directing duo known as Daniels are using it as the basis for their upcoming film, Everything Everywhere All At Once, a multidimensional family actioner that’s had people buzzing since it premiered at SXSW just days ago.

Starring Michelle Yeoh as an exhausted mother and wife faced with a daughter she doesn’t understand, a husband she doesn’t connect with, a struggling business and an aggressive IRS audit, she finds her boring life at the center of an adventure to save all possible worlds.

The film also stars Jonathan Ke Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenny Slate, James Hong, Andy Le, Brian Le, and Harry Shum Jr. The Russo Brothers are on board as producers.

The Daniels are best known for their vast array of music videos, but they emerged as filmmakers with their bizarre comedy Swiss Army Man. Having seen Everything Everywhere All At Once last night, I think fans of their work will love it, and it might earn them a few converts. It’s not every day you get a deeply earnest and moving family drama that also has kung-fu, googly eyes, hot dog fingers (literally), talking rocks, bagels that double as black holes…it’s a scene, man.

Everything Everywhere All At Once opens on March 25th. Check out a couple of new promos below.
