‘Karoshi’ Trailer: Teo Yoo, Isabel May, Giancarlo Esposito, And Cynthia Erivo Star In Corporate Action Thriller

As corporations gain more wealth and power to challenge entire governments, conflicts between companies will inevitably turn violent. In the dark action-thriller Karoshi, that time isn’t too far into our future. The film is produced by John Wick creator Chad Stahelski, and features a stacked international cast led by Past Lives actor Teo Yoo.

Written and directed by Takashi Doscher, Karoshi also stars Isabel May, Takehiro Hira, Bill Camp, Show Kasamatsu, Giancarlo Esposito, and Cynthia Erivo. That’s a lot of star power for an action flick that seems to be flying under the radar. Perhaps that will change now, with the release of a brand new trailer ahead of its release on February 5th 2027.

Produced by Chad Stahelski (John Wick franchise), and written and directed by Takashi Doscher, KARŌSHI is an action-thriller set in a near-future Manhattan, where corporate loyalty and cultural tradition have reshaped everyday life. When a mysterious outsider infiltrates a powerful company after a worker’s death, he exposes the violent system hidden beneath its polished surface.
