‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ Trailer: A Thailand Climb Turns Deadly In Sequel To Surprise Hit Survival Thriller

Released in 2022, survival thriller Fall became a modest hit with a simple premise that everyone can relate to in some way: a fear of being trapped at an incredible height with no way of getting down. Not only did it overperform at the box office, but on streaming it found an even bigger audience. And now Lionsgate is hoping they are eager for more with Fall 2: Deadpoint, which moves the action to Thailand.

The Spierig Brothers take over as director on Fall 2: Deadpoint, with original filmmakers Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank writing the script. The Spierigs are well-known for films such as Predestination, Jigsaw, Daybreakers, and Winchester.

Picking up from events in the first film, the sequel finds two friends tackling a dangerous plank walk at the top of a mountain in Thailand. Naturally, it goes disastrously wrong.

Leading the cast are Harriet Slater, Arsema Thomas, and Tom Brittney, based on characters created by Mann and Frank.

Fall 2: Deadpoint hits theaters on September 2nd.
