Is Stranger Things the biggest series Netflix has ever had? You could certainly argue it’s the show that made the streamer impossible not to subscribe to. It was, and still is to some degree, a cultural phenomenon…and it’s all coming to an end. The long-awaited fifth and final season of Stranger Things is coming this November, but it’ll be split into three epic volumes.
That’s right, the final eight episodes will be split into three volumes, and if that doesn’t sound like much, just chill out. These episodes are going to be longer in length, described as closer to feature films, so fans will be getting tons of creature content from the Duffer Bros.
Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, Amybeth McNulty, Charlie Heaton, Brett Gelman, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, Jamie Campbell Bower, Priah Ferguson, Linda Hamilton, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink comprise the cast, a mix of returning stars and new additions.
Based on this footage, fans are going to be rewarded for sticking around (especially through the long wait times between seasons) since the beginning. It’s made explicitly clear that everything, from the very first episode on, has a crucial part to play in the finale.
Stranger Things season five hits Netflix on November 26th.
