Can true immortality ever be achieved? The quest for eternal life will last for as long as humanity exists. Guy Ritchie’s latest, the adventure film Fountain of Youth, finds John Krasinski, Oscar winner Natalie Portman, and Eiza González searching for the fabled life-giving elixir, using historical clues to help guide the way.
It all sounds a bit like National Treasure, doesn’t it? But under the guidance of Ritchie in his first true adventure movie, it offers a Hell of a lot more action as seen in this new trailer. The film has a script by James Vanderbilt, writer of Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man, Scream, and more.
Others in the cast include Domhnall Gleeson, Eiza González, Laz Alonso, Arian Moayed, Carmen Ejogo, and Stanley Tucci.
This is Ritchie’s fourth movie in two years, and he has another, action flick In the Grey, that was originally set to open in January but was pushed back to an undetermined date. Expect it to be soon, though.
SYNOPSIS: “’Fountain of Youth‘ follows two estranged siblings (John Krasinski and Academy Award winner Natalie Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth.
