‘The Four Seasons’ Trailer: Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, Steve Carell, And More Lead Netflix Miniseries Remake In May

Netflix is always in new of fresh shows, especially with so many going away in 2025. But rarely do they get one with the level of star power and pedigree as The Four Seasons, a miniseries created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher (Never Have I Ever), and Tracey Wigfield, best known for creating a little show called Saved By the Bell.

Fey stars with Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, Colman Domingo, and Steve Carell in the series remake of the 1981 movie of the same name. Alan Alda, who starred in the original, will make a guest appearance, as well. The eight-episode show follows three couples, all best friends, through four seasonal vacation getaways following news that one pair is splitting up.

Episodes were directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini (American Splendor), Oz Rodriguez (Deli Boys), Jeff Richmond (30 Rock), Lang Fisher, and Colman Domingo. Fey, Fisher, and Wigfield are co-showrunners and exec-producers, as well as co-writers.

SYNOPSIS: Six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate and Jack, Nick and Anne, and Danny and Claude, are completely upended by the news. Over the course of a year, we follow the friends on four vacations, and watch how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic — sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface. Co-created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, THE FOUR SEASONS is a hilarious and heartfelt love letter to long marriages and old friendships. Based on the 1981 feature film of the same name.

The Four Seasons hits Netflix on May 1st.
