‘Holland’ Trailer: Nicole Kidman And Gael Garcia Bernal Star In New Thriller From ‘Fresh’ Director Mimi Cave

Nicole Kidman has really jumped into the marital thriller genre with both feet of late. The Babygirl star and Oscar winner is back with another, Holland, from director Mimi Cave. Cave made a splash a couple of years ago with Fresh and she’s a definite star on the rise. Her sophomore effort is set to premiere at SXSW next month before heading to Prime Video.

Holland stars Kidman as a wife in a seemingly perfect marriage in the perfect neighborhood, only to discover a shocking secret and the realization that everything is not as it seems.

Joining Kidman in the cast are Gael Garcia Bernal, Matthew Macfadyen, Jude Hill, and Rachel Sennott. The script is by Manhunt creator Andrew Sodoski. A lot of talent on both sides of the camera.

SYNOPSIS: In this wildly unpredictable thriller, Nicole Kidman is the meticulous Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker whose picture-perfect life with her community pillar husband (Matthew Macfadyen) and son (Jude Hill) in tulip-filled Holland, Michigan tumbles into a twisted tale Nancy and her friendly colleague (Gael García Bernal) become suspicious of a secret, only to discover nothing in their lives is what it seems.

Prime Video premieres Holland on March 27th.
