‘The Agency’ Trailer: Michael Fassbender Goes Deep Cover In New Paramount+ Espionage Series

Michael Fassbender. Jeffrey Wright. Jodie Turner-Smith. Richard Gere. Paramount+ series The Agency is absolutely stacked at the top, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The star power assembled for the high-stakes espionage thriller is matched behind the camera with George Clooney and Grant Heslov as producers, along with Joe Wright directing the first two episodes.

As seen in the new trailer, The Agency stars Fassbender as Martian, a deep cover agent pulled from a long-term undercover assignment and returned to his normal life. But this move is not without consequences, as the woman he left behind comes back to find him. When their passion reignites, it throws everything into jeopardy.

The series also stars Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, and Hugh Bonneville. Ford v Ferrari duo of Jez and John-Henry Butterworth wrote the screenplay. Again, the sheer amount of talent is overwhelming.

The Agency hits Paramount+ with SHOWTIME on November 29th with a two-episode premiere.
