Marvel Reveals First Look At ‘Wonder Man’ Series As Part Of Full Disney+ Slate Through 2025

It’s been a rough couple of years for Marvel Studios, but the hope is that the massive box office of Deadpool & Wolverine has helped them turn the corner. As part of their newfound confidence in the future, last night saw the debut of a new sizzle reel teasing the upcoming Marvel slate from the rest of 2024 through 2025 on Disney+, featuring our first look at the Wonder Man series.

A couple of box reveals for 2024 include Deadpool & Wolverine hitting Disney+ on November 12th. The film is still in theaters and has earned an incredible $1.3B thus far. Also hitting the streamer on December 22nd is the third and final season of animated series, What If?

Rumors had been circulating that Marvel had canceled their live-action Wonder Man series because so little information had been released on it. But not only is it happening, it’ll arrive in December 2025. A new teaser reveals footage of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams as he tries to win the role of Wonder Man in an audition. We also see the return of Ben Kingsley as petty con man Trevor Slattery, who gave Tony Stark fits in Iron Man 3 when he posed as The Mandarin. He would show up later in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, where it was revealed he was just a bad actor in need of work.

We also see footage of Daredevil: Born Again with Charlie Cox back as the Man without Fear. That show arrives on March 4th 2025.

Another surprise was a June 24th 2025 release date for Ironheart, with Dominique Thorne reprising her Black Panther: Wakanda Forever role as MIT student Riri Williams, who has built her own version of Iron Man’s armor.

On the Marvel Animation block,  Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man arrives on January 29th 2026, Black Panther spinoff Eyes of Wakanda premieres on August 6th 2025, and Marvel Zombies in October 2025.

What was that about reducing the number of Marvel Studios projects each year?
