Regé-Jean Page Is Latest To Join ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Cast

If Paramount was looking for a way to attract more of a female audience to their Dungeons & Dragon movie, this is the move to make. Bridgerton hunk Regé-Jean Page is the latest to join the cast, alongside Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Justice Smith. Is this a movie or a cover shoot?

You already know the deal on D&D. Based on the RPG table top game, directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the duo behind Vacation and Game Night. Expect lots of dragons, wizard, ogres, fairies, and what not.

Page is red-hot right now. Not only did he recently earn SAG, Satellite, and NAACP awards nominations for his Bridgerton role as the very eligible bachelor Simon Basset, but he’ll be hosting SNL this week.  There’s also that scurrilous rumor he’ll be the next Black Panther, and a certain contingent of fans hoping he’ll get to be James Bond someday. Neither is likely to happen, but that his name is mentioned says a lot for how far Page has come so fast. [Deadline]
