‘Sonic The Hedgehog 3’ Trailer: Keanu Reeves Joins The Franchise As Sonic’s Foe Shadow The Hedgehog

When they talk about the emergence of video game movies as a Hollywood force, Sonic the Hedgehog will deserve a lot of credit. SEGA and Paramount have seemingly cracked the code and made two delightful, action-packed films that audiences have loved, introducing fan-favorite characters with each chapter. For Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that’ll be the popular antihero Shadow the Hedgehog.

Keanu Reeves boards the franchise as Shadow, the result of the secret Program Shadow government program. Ben Schwartz returns as the voice of Sonic, joined by Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails, and Idris Elba as Knuckles. The film kicks off after the events of the recent Knuckles series on Paramount+.

The live-action cast includes James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Jim Carrey, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Krysten Ritter, Tom Butler, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, James Wolk, and Jorma Taccone.

Jeff Fowler returns as director. These have been the only features to his credit and he’s knocked them out of the park.

SYNOPSIS: Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before.
