A briefcase full of money might sound like a miraculous find, but judging by decades’ worth of action movies they tend to be more trouble than their worth. Such is definitely the case for Jonthan Rhys Meyers and the great Melissa Leo in The Clean Up Crew, because now they’ve got an angry Antonio Banderas on their trail.
Rhys Meyers and Leo play employees in a crime scene cleanup crew who make the discovery of a lifetime: a briefcase full of money. They decide to take the cash for themselves, only to run afoul of a dangerous crime lord played by Banderas, and a bunch of corrupt FBI agents.
This fast-paced action flick is directed by Jon Keeyes, a filmmaker who has worked recently with Banderas on Cult Killer and Rhys-Meyers on The Survivalist.
