‘Bad Boys: Ride Or Die’ Trailer: Will Smith And Martin Lawrence Are On The Lam In Action Franchise’s Latest Sequel

Audiences simply can’t get enough of Bad Boys and the duo of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. This franchise is what both men will likely be remembered for, at least when it comes to their big screen careers, as not even a seventeen-year gap between Bad Boys II and Bad Boys for Life could slow it down. And now with Bad Boys: Ride or Die, we’re looking at what might be the biggest sequel yet.

I honestly couldn’t tell you the plot of any of the previous movies, and I’ve seen them loads of times. They aren’t really about story as much as Will and Martin cracking jokes and looking cool in gunfights. In Bad Boys: Ride or Die, partners Mike and Marcus are framed for the murder of their Captain, played since the beginning by Joe Pantoliano. It’s up to them to stay one step ahead of the law while also rooting out the police corruption that took him down.

Returning from the previous film are Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, and DJ Khaled. Also in the cast are Jacob Scipio, Eric Dane, Ioan “Reed Richards” Gruffudd, and Tasha Smith who replaces Theresa Randle as Marcus’ wife.

Also coming back are directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who have really hit their stride of late.

Here’s the brief synopsis: This Summer, the world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your-seat action and outrageous comedy, but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die hits theaters on June 7th.
