‘You’re Cordially Invited’ Teaser: Will Ferrell And Reese Witherspoon Star In Raunchy Wedding Comedy From ‘Neighbors’ Director

Weddings are incredibly stressful for everyone. Not just the bride, groom, and their families, but for the people who must endeavor to make sure the big day is absolutely perfect. Well, take that idea, then throw in one massive screw-up and you’ve got the plot for You’re Cordially Invited, a raunchy Prime Video comedy starring Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon.

Written and directed by Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bros), You’re Cordially Invited stars Ferrell as father of the bride-to-be, and Witherspoon whose sister is set to walk down the aisle. When the venue is double-booked, they decide to cut through the craziness by sharing it, only to have a destructive clash of personalities.

Also in the cast are Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, Rory Scovel, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ramona Young, Jack McBrayer, with Celia Weston, so a really great group of funny people here.

Here’s the synopsis: A woman planning her sister’s perfect wedding and the father of a young bride-to-be find out that they are double booked for their destination wedding at a remote resort on an island off the Georgia coast. When both parties decide to share the small venue, chaos ensues, and disaster awaits.

You’re Cordially Invited hits Prime Video on January 30th 2025.
