‘My Divorce Party’ Exclusive Clip: A Scorned Divorcee Has Money To Burn In New Comedy Starring Rumer Willis

When couples divorce, sometimes it’s an amicable thing between two people who still care about one another. But probably more often it’s not and can get really ugly, especially when the discussion turns to assets and who gets what. In the upcoming comedy My Divorce Party, one woman decides that she’d rather burn it all and start over fresh than let her cheating soon-to-be ex-husband get a single penny.

We’re happy to present this exclusive clip from My Divorce Party, starring Rumer Willis (Empire), Kimia Behpoornia (Abbott Elementary), Michelle Meredith (The Morning Show), Sarah Hollis (24), Desiree Staples (Take Me to Tarzana) and Laith Ashley (RuPaul’s Drag Race).

In this scene, divorcee Xan (Staples) has invited her friends out to celebrate her impending divorce, but during their chat by the bonfire she reveals her intention to roast all of her money like S’mores rather than give him anything in a settlement. Her friends have a lot to say about it.

My Divorce Party was written and directed by Heidi Weitzer, and is available now on digital and cable VOD via Gravitas Ventures.
