‘The Clearing’ Trailer: Teresa Palmer, Guy Pearce, And Miranda Otto Star In Hulu’s Cult Thriller Series

Just the other day a friend and I were discussing the whereabouts of Teresa Palmer, the I Am Number Four actress who at one time was looked at as the Wish.com version of Kristen Stewart. She has more than stepped out and made her own mark since then, and it turns out she has a major new Hulu series on the way with The Clearing.

Palmer stars alongside Miranda Otto and Guy Pearce in the series about a woman trying to prevent little girls from being kidnapped into a dangerous cult. But it’s clear from this footage that there’s more to the woman than meets the eye, and also that little bleach-blonde cult girls are super creepy.

The series is based on J.P. Pomare’s book, In the Clearing, and was created by Elise McCredie and Matt Cameron.

The Clearing hits Hulu on May 24th and runs for eight episodes.

The Clearing” is an eight-part psychological thriller based on the best-selling crime thriller ‘In The Clearing’ by author J.P. Pomare, inspired by the darkness of real-life cults in Australia and around the world. Filmed across Victoria, “The Clearing” is an emotional and psychological thriller that follows the nightmares of a cult and a woman who’s forced to face the demons from her past in order to stop the kidnapping and coercion of innocent children in the future. The series burrows under the skin and inside the mind, blurring the lines between past and present, reality and nightmare in a truly unnerving way.
