Donald Glover And Lucasfilm Are “Talking About” His Possible Return As Lando Calrissian

Is there anyone who didn’t like Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story? While that film is largely considered to be a failure (I still dig it.), Glover is seen as one of the few bright spots that need to come back. Well, that might be on the verge of happening.

Speaking with GQ about his acting career, Glover confirmed that he has been in talks with Lucasfilm about playing Lando again.

“I would love to play Lando again. It’s a fun time to be him,” said Glover. “It just needs to be the right way to do it… I’m not interested in doing anything that is going to be a waste of my time or just a paycheck. I’d much rather be around people that I enjoy. So, it just has to be the right thing, which I think it could be. I mean, Lando is somebody I definitely think I’d like to hang out with.”

Glover then cautiously added, “We’re talking about it. That’s as much as I can say without Kathleen Kennedy hunting me down.

Rumors of a Lando television series have been swirling since 2020, and with everyone else getting to headline a Star Wars show on Disney+ it has to be Glover’s turn soon, right?
