Is Chevalier finally the film that takes Kelvin Harrison Jr. to the next level? After acclaimed performances in Waves, Cyrano, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and more, it seems his time is now with the rave reviews pouring in for his performance as composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges.

Directed by Stephen Williams, Chevalier tells the incredible true story of Joseph Bologne, the French-Caribbean, Guadalupe-born virtuoso violinist and composer who rose to become the leading conductor in Paris and a key figure in French high society.

Lucy Boynton, Samara Weaving, Martin Csokas, Alex Fitzalan, and Minnie Driver co-star. Atlanta writer Stefani Robinson penned the screenplay.

Chevalier opens in theaters on April 21st.

Inspired by the incredible true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges.
