‘My Happy Ending’ Trailer: Andie MacDowell Is An Actress Playing The Role Of A Lifetime

Andie MacDowell gets a rare moment in the spotlight in My Happy Ending, a film based on Anat Gov‘s play, “Happy End”, and not the Avril Lavigne song. Behind the camera is the duo of Tal Granit and Sharon Maymom, known for the 2018 Israeli drama Flawless.

The story centers on a famous actress, played by MacDowell, who checks herself into a hospital for a medical issue. There, she encounters three women unlike any she’s ever met before, and they help her on a personal journey that could heal her body and soul.

Joining MacDowell in the cast are Miriam Margolyes, Sally Phillips, Rakhee Thakrar, Tamsin Greig, Tom Cullen, Michelle Greenidge, and David Walliams.

My Happy Ending opens in theaters on February 24th.

Andie MacDowell stars as a famous actor who goes incognito to seek treatment for a medical issue. While at the hospital, she meets three unique and remarkable women — an aging rocker, a young mother, and a forever single retired schoolteacher. Together, they help her face adversity with humor and camaraderie while coaching her for the most challenging role she has ever played…herself.
