Vin Diesel Isn’t Actually In Any Of The ‘Avatar’ Sequels

As if Vin Diesel doesn’t have enough franchises that he’s a part of, in 2019 he began teasing a role in James Cameron’s Avatar sequels. How are those doing, by the way? Pretty good, I hope. Anyway, it’s been a few years and we haven’t seen or heard anything about what Diesel will be doing. Turns out there’s a good reason for the silence.

He ain’t in it.

Producer Jon Landau confirmed to Empire that Diesel is not in any of the Avatar films, saying that Diesel’s post was taken out of context and then took on a life of its own…

“He came in, visited the set one day to see what we were doing and people took that out of context,” explained Landau.

Landau’s being nice. Diesel is the one who willed the rumor into existence because he knew exactly what his fans would do.

So, Diesel fans, your hopes of seeing the big blue bald guy have been dashed. If Diesel wanted to work with Cameron so bad he should’ve asked him to shoot an epilogue or something for Fast X.
