‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ Has Big Night At The 2023 Critics Choice Awards

It was a win-everything kind of night for Everything Everywhere All At Once, which entered the 2023 Critics Choice Awards as the popular favorite. The multiverse spanning action-comedy family drama had a huge evening with five total Critics Choice Award victories, including Best Picture, Best Director for Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Original Screenplay for Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert, and Best Editing for Paul Rogers.

Taking Best Actress for her incredible role in Tár was Cate Blanchett, ensuring it remains a two-horse-race between her and Everything Everywhere’s Michelle Yeoh at the Oscars.

Brendan Fraser’s resurgence continues with a Best Actor win for his dramatic performance in The Whale.

Marvel fans got the big win they (and yours truly) were hoping for as Angela Bassett won Best Supporting Actress for her commanding performance as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

It was also a strong showing for Rian Johnson and Netflix as Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story won two for Best Comedy Film and Best Acting Ensemble.
