Brad Pitt And Adam Sandler Rumored For New Noah Baumbach Film For Netflix

This rumor comes from the New York Post, so take it with a grain of salt. However, part of me thinks it could be legit. Basically, Adam Sandler and Brad Pitt are reported to be starring in a Noah Baumbach movie for Netflix.

Doesn’t sound so crazy, does it? Baumbach and Sandler have made Netflix their home for a while now, including a film they did together, The Meyerowitz Stories. Last year saw Sandler receive some of his best dramatic reviews for Hustle, while Baumbach released White Noise on the streamer.

The outlier here is Pitt, who has never done a Baumbach or Sandler picture before. However, he has worked with Netflix on the all-but-forgotten military drama War Machine. Remember that one? Yeah, I forgot about it, too.

I think it’s a given that Baumbach and Sandler will work together again. And it’ll be interesting to see how Pitt and Baumbach mesh, and how he clicks with Sandler assuming this would be more of a dramedy than a straight comedy.
