‘Showing Up’ Trailer: Michelle Williams Leads A Chaotic Life In Latest Film With Director Kelly Reichardt

The trailer for Kelly Reichardt’s latest film, Showing Up, couldn’t come at a better time. Her fourth collaboration with star Michelle Williams (after Wendy & Lucy, Meek’s Cutoff, and Certain Women), it arrives as the actress is red-hot and a likely Oscar contender for her performance in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans.

Williams stars as a sculptor on the verge of a major exhibition that could be career-changing. In the days leading up to it, she begins to draw inspiration from the chaos in her life.

Joining Williams is her The Fabelmans co-star Judd Hirsch, along with Hong Chau, Amanda Plummer, André Benjamin, and Reichardt’s First Cow lead John Magaro. Speaking of which, First Cow is a great movie that you should check out, too. Reichardt co-wrote the script with Jon Raymond, a frequent partner on much of her previous work.
