‘Mickey 17’: Release Date Revealed For Bong Joon-ho’s Next Film Starring Robert Pattinson

If you were hoping 2023 would be the year for a new project by Oscar-winning Parasite director Bong-Joon, well, I’ve got some bad news. Warner Bros. has announced that his sci-fi film starring Robert Pattinson, Mickey 17, will open on March 29th 2024.

Here’s the teaser announcement to watch so you can regain composure…

The film is based on Edward Ashton’s novel and stars Pattinson as Mickey 17, an “expendable”, or disposable employee on a human expedition to colonize an ice planet. When one expendable dies, another is regenerated with most of the same memories. But what happens when the latest model comes to recognize the suicidal nature of his occupation?

Pattinson stars alongside Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, Naomi Ackie, and Mark Ruffalo.
