Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, and Candice Bergen are a superhero team in their own right, taking their passionate literary group on a brand new adventure in a new land, in this case…Italy.
There will be molta eccitazione in the Book Club sequel as hot men seemingly pop out of nowhere to become victims of Fonda’s double entendres. Pray for male co-stars Craig T. Nelson, Giancarlo Giannini, Andy Garcia, and Don Johnson, many of whom signed up for a second bite of this franchise apple. The first film cracked $100M so who can blame anybody for coming back?
Returning to direct is Bill Holderman, having teamed with Erin Simms on the screenplay.
