‘Causeway’ Trailer: Jennifer Lawrence And Brian Tyree Henry’s Recovery Drama Hits Apple TV+ Tomorrow

The buzz surrounding Causeway is building, and I’m here for all of it. The low-key drama about a soldier with PTSD and a physical disability who unexpectedly bonds with an auto mechanic with his own traumatic past, stars Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry. Debuting earlier this year at TIFF, it recently played at Middleburg where it was one of the best films I saw there. Apple is jumping on all of the praise by debuting a new trailer ahead of the film’s release tomorrow.

Marking Lila Neugebauer’s directorial debut, Causeway is a story about recovery and the bonds we form that allow us to get beyond tragedy. Also in the cast are Linda Emond and Stephen McKinley Henderson. But this is Lawrence and Henry’s show, and the two are simply magical together.

Causeway is in select theaters now and hits Apple TV+ tomorrow, November 4th.
