‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special’ Trailer: Kevin Bacon Joins The MCU As The Perfect Christmas Gift

It’s official: Kevin Bacon is in the MCU! The legendary actor and ’80s icon is going to be part of a Marvel Christmas treat as he appears in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Fans have wondered what James Gunn has up his sleeve for this special yuletide event, and now we know it’ll involve the team getting together to cheer up a sullen Star-Lord.

The new trailer is a blast, and looks funny and heartwarming all at once. It’s a balance that Gunn has mastered when it comes to his favorite band of misfits, who will unite for one final time with next year’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

All of the usual suspects are here: Chris Pratt returns as Star-Lord, despondent over the loss of Gamora; Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff as Drax and Mantis, who set out to Hollywood to find that special gift that will cheer their leader up; Karen Gillan as Nebula; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, and we’ll also hear Maria Bakalova as Cosmo the Spacedog.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special hits Disney+ on November 25th!
