Dwayne Johnson Unleashes ‘Black Adam’ Teaser Trailer At Comic-Con

The Black Adam panel here at San Diego Comic-Con blew the roof off of Hall H this morning. Of course, only Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would kick things off by rising from the depths of the showfloor, surrounded in blue energy and decked out in full costume. It was a prime example of the kind of confidence he has in the film, a project he has been shepherding for more than a decade.

Johnson, joined by castmembers Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, and Noah Centineo, brought along a sneak peak with one huge surprise. Not only do we get to see Black Adam kicking the ass of the JSA (Justice Society of America, my favorite non-Xmen superteam), but we also saw that Viola Davis has joined the cast. She, of course, reprises her  Suicide Squad role as Amanda Waller, and it’s highly suggestive that she sends the JSA after Black Adam.

Black Adam hits theaters on October 21st.
