‘Bullet Train’ Trailer: Brad Pitt Goes On An Action-Packed Thrill Ride In ‘John Wick’ Director’s Latest Film

When was the last time Brad Pitt starred in a true action flick? Feels like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it? Was it 2014’s Fury? Whatever the case, it’s been a while, but now he’s back and paired up with John Wick creator David Leitch for Bullet Train. The funny thing about it? Leitch used to be Pitt’s stunt double. Pretty cool the way things shake out, right?

Bullet Train stars Pitt as Ladybug, a sem-retired criminal on a Japanese bullet train filled with assassins each with an interconnected mission. Joining Pitt in the cast are Joey King, Andrew Koji, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sandra Bullock, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Masi Oka, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Miraj Grbic, Pasha D. Lychnikoff, and rapper/pro wrestler Bad Bunny.

So yeah, this looks pretty amazing. Brad Pitt vs. Bad Bunny? Yes please.

The film is based on Japanese novelist Kōtarō Isaka’s book, Maria Beetle, which was translated into Bullet Train for English readers. That title has a whole new meaning when you throw a bunch of armed killers into the mix.

Bullet Train opens in theaters on April 8th.
