Where else but in the universe of The Boys can a super-powered baby’s sneeze unleash laser beams that reduce a squad of soldiers into red smears? While it’s the sort of thing we might expect to see in Amazon’s hit live-action series, it actually happens in animated form in this brief teaser for The Boys: Diabolical.
Teased by Karl Urban himself just weeks ago, or first look at Diabolical is appropriately gruesome in a most Looney Tunes kind of way. The anthology tells various stories from across The Boys‘ landscape, offering different filmmakers a chance to play in this amped up sandbox.
Just some of the folks taking part in the action are Awkwafina, Garth Ennis, Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Justin Roiland and Ben Bayouth, Andy Samberg, and Aisha Tyler. Garth Ennis, creator of The Boys comic and a pretty twisted mind himself, is also on board.
The Boys: Diabolical will have all of its episodes hit Prime Video on March 4th. The Boys season 3 kicks off on June 3rd.
