‘Moon Knight’ Trailer: Oscar Isaac Embraces Chaos As Marvel’s Nocturnal Hero

It’s official! After rumors surfaced that Moon Knight could be arriving on Disney+ in mere weeks on March 30th, the first full-length trailer confirms it. Oscar Isaac gets to revel in nocturnal chaos as Marc Spector aka Moon Knight, one of the most bizarre Marvel heroes around, and this footage confirms the series will embrace everything that makes him unique.

Isaac stars as Moon Knight, a former boxer turned Marine who ends up working for the CIA. When he nearly dies, Spector is revived by the Egyptian god Knonshu and given special abilities to help protect the innocent as a means of atoning for his violent past. There’s a problem: Spector also suffers from dissociative identity disorder, and some of his personalities are a bit uncontrollable.

This is, by far, the darkest character ever introduced into the MCU and I can’t wait to see how they handle him on Disney+. We’ve got no reason to believe that heavier material will be an issue, especially with someone like Isaac leading the way.

Also in the cast are Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. The series is written by Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy) and directors in Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab and the duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
