Jason Momoa In Talks To Face Vin Diesel In ‘Fast & Furious 10’

Vin Diesel and the rest of the Toretto fam have stuck together through nine films already, but their biggest adventure is yet to come. An epic two-part storyline will bring the franchise to a close, and what better way to go out than by adding some more muscle. No, Dwayne Johnson isn’t coming back, and Diesel hasn’t upped his workouts. It’s Jason Momoa who will be the final boss by the looks of things.

According to THR, Momoa is in negotiations to join Fast & Furious 10, and while there are no plot details it looks like he’ll be playing a villain. I mean, how can you not have Diesel vs. Momoa as the headliner? Come on! Considering most characters tend to return for more, it’s likely we’ll see Momoa also have a role to play in Fast & Furious 11, expected to be the franchise’s finale.  Charlize Theron, who debuted with Fate of the Furious and returned for F9, is also coming back.

Momoa knows a thing or two about big-money franchises, too. Of course, he’s got the blockbuster Aquaman movies under his belt, with a sequel on the way. He also recently played the heroic Duncan Idaho in Dune. An attempt to launch a Conan franchise with Momoa went bellyup pretty quickly, but obviously he has rebounded pretty well.

Fast 10 hits theaters on May 19th 2023, directed by Justin Lin.
