‘He Dreams of Giants’ Trailer: Terry Gilliam Finally Complete His Impossible Film

It only took a couple of decades and a few different actors, but in 2019 Terry Gilliam was finally able to finish and release his long-troubled The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. Honestly? I kinda forgot about it.  The film didn’t make any waves, even to those who had been waiting so long for it, but at least it was a monkey that had finally gotten off of Gilliam’s back.

So the story was finally over, and so Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe, directors of the acclaimed doc, Lost in La Mancha, are back with a sequel titled He Dreams of Giants. Whereas the previous film followed Gilliam’s heartbreak in watching The Man Who Killed Don Quixote fall apart, this one buttons up that journey as he encounters new roadblocks, including his own health, in completing the film once and for all.

He Dreams of Giants opens in the UK on March 29th with a global release to follow.
