‘Full Phil’: Woody Harrelson And Kristen Stewart In First Look At Quentin Dupieux’s Surreal Dark Comedy

Quentin Dupieux has spent his career making weird, surreal, offbeat comedies that have grown in popularity beyond France to find an audience here in the States. But his latest, titled Full Phil, could be his biggest domestic release ever as it features an all-star cast led by Kristen Stewart and Woody Harrelson.

The first look at Full Phil has arrived from the folks at StudioCanal, featuring Harrelson and Stewart as a father and daughter trying to reconnect during a lavish trip to Paris. Also in the cast are Charlotte Le Bon, Emma Mackey, andthe comedy duo of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.

SYNOPSIS: Philip Doom, a wealthy American business magnate, tries to reconnect with his daughter Madeleine during an opulent trip to Paris. But French cuisine, a 1950s horror film, and an invasive hotel employee soon threaten to disrupt the smooth running of their stay.

Dupieux’s most recent film, The Piano Accident, opened last year and starred Adèle Exarchopoulos. He’s also known for surrealist comedies Rubber, Wrong, Wrong Cops, and Smoking Causes Coughing.
