Apple’s hit sports series Ted Lasso launched Brett Goldstein’s career like a rocket, and he’s moved on to bigger things since the show ended. Now he’s back with Apple on the sci-fi romance, All of You, which he co-wrote and stars in alongside Imogen Poots.
The screenplay was co-written by Goldstein alongside director William Bridges, known for his work on Black Mirror. The two previously collaborated on the AMC series Soulmates and have been developing this film together for a decade.
All of You centers on best friends whose lives take an unexpected turn when one takes a test that finds her soulmate.
Joining Goldstein and Poots in the cast are Zawe Ashton, Steven Cree, Jenna Coleman, and Eva Magyar.
SYNOPSIS: Best friends since college, Simon (Emmy Award winner Brett Goldstein) and Laura (Imogen Poots) drift apart when she takes a test that finds her soulmate despite years of unspoken feelings between them. Over the years, as their paths cross and diverge, neither can deny the feeling that they’ve missed out on a life together. Faced with the uncertainty of changing the course of their lives, are Simon and Laura willing to risk everything to experience the love that had been between them all along, or should they accept their fate?
All of You opens in select theaters and on Apple TV+ on September 26th.
