First, it was the Nazis. Now it’s the entire Soviet army. Sony Pictures has revealed the trailer for Sisu: Road to Revenge, the sequel to 2022’s awesome action flick, Sisu, which saw Jorma Tommila as a Finnish ex-commando-turned-gold miner destroy a bunch of Nazi goons determined to kill “the man who refuses to die.” Obviously, they failed.
Once again written and directed by Jalmari Helander, Sisu: Road to Revenge also sees Tommila return as Aatami Korpi, as he faces the brutal Red Army commander who killed his family.
Joining the cast are Avatar actor Stephen Lang and horror vet Richard Brake.
SYNOPSIS: “Sisu: Road To Revenge” is a wall-to-wall cinematic action event, a sequel to the original sleeper hit SISU. Returning to the house where his family was brutally murdered during the war, “the man who refuses to die” (Jorma Tommila) dismantles it, loads it on a truck, and is determined to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honor. When the Red Army commander who killed his family (Stephen Lang) comes back hellbent on finishing the job, a relentless, eye-popping cross-country chase ensues – a fight to the death, full of clever, unbelievable action set pieces.
Sisu: Road to Revenge hits theaters on November 21st.
