‘Landman’ Trailer: Taylor Sheridan’s Texas Oil Boom Series Stars Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Jon Hamm, And Demi Moore

What would Paramount+ do without Taylor Sheridan? Seriously, the prolific creator already has six shows under his belt for the streamer, with Yellowstone being a massive hit that has spawned many of them. But Sheridan has others that have nothing to do with cattle ranching, such as Lioness, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and now you can add Texas oil drama Landman to that list.

Sheridan has put together quite the ensemble with Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter (so I’ll be watching, for sure), Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Kayla Wallace, Michael Pena, Andy Garcia, James Jordan, Paulina Chavez, and Mark Collie. The oil rigs of West Texas are the setting for Landman, as the roughnecks and billionaires look to capitalize on an oil boom that is changing the country.

Landman runs for ten episodes on Paramount+ beginning on November 17th. Sheridan wrote all episodes.

SYNOPSIS: Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, LANDMAN is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown” from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
