‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ To Premiere This Holiday Season

Considering the number of projects Lucasfilm has coming up, it was a fairly quiet Star Wars Day weekend other than The Acolyte‘s new trailer.  Interesting, because there’s another live-action show, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, that we now know is coming soon, and thanks to director Jon Watts we have an idea when.

Speaking the CCXP event (via Collider), Watts revealed that Skeleton Crew will hit Disney+ this Christmas. The Amblin-esque show has largely been kept under wraps, but we do know it will center on four kids who make a shocking discovery on their home planet that sends them on an adventure through a dangerous and unfamiliar galaxy.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, and Robert Timothy Smith play the four central kids, joined by Kerry Condon, Tunde Abedimpe, Michael C. Bradford, Cass Buggé, and M.J. Kang.

It’s been a busy year for Star Wars on Disney+. The Bad Batch recently dropped its series finale, followed by Star Wars: Tales of the Empire which debuted on Star Wars Day. The Acolyte is next and will premiere the first two episodes on June 4th.
