Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t just show up anywhere. He’s one action star who hasn’t watered down his image with loads of terrible straight-to-VOD movies or spent a lot of time parodying his own work. So now when Arnold shows up anywhere, it still feels like a pretty big deal. And that goes double on the small screen, where he’ll show up in the new Netflix action series, FUBAR.
Netflix has dropped a teaser and first-look at FUBAR, the series stars Arnold as a CIA agent on the verge of retirement who is dragged back for one last job because of a family secret.
The cast also includes Jay Baruchel, Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Barbara Eve Harris, Aparna Brielle, and Andy Buckley. Nick Santora, known for Prison Break and Reacher, is created the series and acts as showrunner.
I’m SO ready for this! Arnold has still got it, in my book, and there’s something about seeing him light up a stogie that tells me somebody’s about to get their ass kicked.
FUBAR hits Netflix on May 25th.
